BREATHING EXERCISES FOR VOCALIZATION
As if we smell a flower, we should breathe and start the breath with the “F” or “S” command.
MUSCLES THAT ALLOW US TO BREATHE
Diaphragm muscle
Rib muscles
Abdominal muscles
We use these muscles intensively while vocalizing. The diaphragm muscle controls 75% of the breathing process.
DIAPHRAM: the most important breathing muscle, but it is heavily influenced by our emotions. It becomes tense and spasmodic, especially in case of fear. It almost locks respiration by not allowing breathing.
DIAPHRAGM EXERCISES
Lie on your back on the floor and put a 2-3 pound weight on your stomach and inhale, exhale, inhale.
Standing, while inhaling through the nose, raise the arms towards the head, hold for a second and lower the arms by exhaling.
